I'm giving 4 stars because I really like the design and value for the money. However, the bed squeaks. I tried WD40 on all the screws and it's better but still squeaky. Pretty disappointing, I was really hoping this wouldn't happen. But, I'm sure more expensive metal beds are just as prone to being squeaky. The bed took me 3 hours to assemble myself. It's pretty straightforward. Condos are only getting smaller and my bedroom now has a functional workspace. I'm an adult using this bed. I don't mind the surrounding guardrail because it protects my dog from falling off the bed :) Space saver and sturdy. 30 Aug 21
How did I assemble this by myself? I have no clue but I did and it was very easy. I did use a drill with the proper hex drill bit to save some time and strength in my hands. Highly recommend using a drill and keeping the hand tool handy to tighten the screws once every few weeks. If you mount it to the wall, it probably won't be as "rickety". The best part is is that it doesn't need a box spring and there's plenty of room to sit under it comfortably. I put my office desk ( a roll top desk from the 70s). Super cool for teens, and adults trying to save space. Overall satisfied 23 Aug 21
This bed worked well for creating more space in a small room. Two complaints 1- too tall and really hard for me to make the bed for my 4 year old 2- the ladder is extremely uncomfortable and hurts the feet Other than this we are happy with the product. easy put together! 17 Aug 21

Size is good, feels solid, good height. Major considerations for redesign. Change the ladder cross bars to flat for foot comfort, open the rail at the top of the ladder instead of requiring the child to climb over. Just what i was looking for. 2 Jun 21

We bought this for my son's tight space at college. It is perfect - he was able to fit two dressers underneath, and has lots of extra space behind the dressers for more storage. The bed is very sturdy - no shakiness or noisiness. It took my son and husband about 2 hours to put together, but it wasn't difficult. We bought a twin XL comforter to go on it, as we knew it would be hard to make the bed with a wider one. The twin XL worked well. It covers the edges of the bed, and he doesn't have to fight with it to make it look neat. We are very happy with this purchase! 10 Aug 20

I got two loft beds, one twin and one full. I am going to compare them in the reviews and I hope thats okay. This bed is sturdy and strong. I put both beds against a wall in corners to add stability. The other bed squeaks but this one does not squeak at all. The assembly was not hard at all, I did it mostly myself but I did need help when it came to standing up the sides and screwing in the center bar because it wad both heavy and bending a little because of its weight, NOT BECAUSE IT IS FLIMSY. Overall, this bed is very much worth the price and yes it does wobble but I swear it is not worrisome or dangerous. I weight about 210 pounds and I am not worried at all. I will say however, that I do not care for or like the ladder. No it isn't comfortable but I just don't like to be on it for very long, looking into a step ladder of some sort instead WORTH EVERY PENNY 29 Jul 20

The bed was pretty easy to assemble. The only complaint that I would have would be they should have alternated the ladders. We bought the bed because the size of the room. Also there is a ceiling fan in the room so having a ladder in an opposite position would've made being able to place the bed in a better situation. other than that, very good bad for the price, very sturdy. 4 May 20

I feel the construction is solid. I'm happy with the bed now that it is assembled. My complaint was the assembly of the bed support bars in particular. For me, these required the use of a rubber mallet and left scrapes on the bed frame. So cool! 3 Jul 19

I love how tall this is. It was perfect for my daughter's room. Gave her lots of room underneath. It is quite close to the ceiling so not great to hang out on, but it works if she is just sleeping in it. Gives lots of space on the floor which is what we were going for. Love! 7 Mar 19
